David Archer

David is a composer, pianist, producer, and writer based in Daajing Giids. "I'd like you to come to the show," he says. David's creative moods ride the border between serious and absurd. His work is deeply influenced by human responses to the climate crisis, life with a chronic illness, and science fiction. His 2023 album and audio installation, "We Have All the Time on Earth", was featured in a collaborative show with Benedicte Hansen at Saahlinda Naay (Haida Gwaii Museum). That album blends piano music with sounds of the Haida Gwaii biosphere. His 2024 EP, "Radiant", is the result of a year-long obsession with one piece of music by J.S. Bach.
